Zalando SE (ZAL.xetr) is Europe’s leading e-commerce company with four core business units: Fashion, Technology, Business Operations and Logistics, headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Zalando follows an online platform approach, offering fashion and lifestyle products to customers in 23 European markets with offices in Duplin, Ireland, Dortmund, Germany and Helsinki, Finland. In Zalando stores, customers can find a wide assortment of more than 4,500 brands. Zalando SE (ZAL.xetr) stock is listed on the Cboe Europe Equities' Exchange Trade Report (ETR). The company owns eleven private label brands such as Anna Field, Even & Odd, Friboo, Fullstop, Kiomi, Mint & Berry, Pier One, Twintip, Your Turn, Zalando Essentials and Zign. Zalando employs approximately 16,000 people, has a market cap of €21.49B (EUR) as of November and €8B (EUR) in 2020 yearly revenue. Zalando launched its new online platform in Slovenia, Lithuania and Slovakia, targeting a bigger stake in the European fashion market in the summer of 2021. The company also plans to expand to Croatia, Estonia, Latvia this year, and Hungary and Romania in 2022. The new logistics centre will serve customers in Germany and the neighbouring countries. Zalando’s new 130,000 sqm warehouse in Giessen, Germany, is scheduled to start this year, the first operation in 2023.
